Forgiving Her for Cheating — Should you?
Sydney is such an inherently beautiful place, it’s hard to believe that something as ugly as cheating can happen within the city walls. However, the fact of the matter is that cheating happens every day, all over the world. People are inherently good, but that inner goodness is usually shrouded by a whole host of bad habits. One of these bad habits is, of course, cheating. Right now, I am happy to say that I am in a loving relationship with my boyfriend. We’ve been together for a long time now, and I’ve been having my fingers crossed lately in the hopes that he’ll propose to me! That would make me extremely happy. However, it’s important to note that, in the past, my boyfriend once cheated on me. I know, that’s pretty hard to believe considering how happy I am now. But it’s true. He was once going through a dark period in his life, and in a showing of great weakness, he slept with someone in his office. I did not catch him in the act, however he did confess to me that he cheated, because he was overwhelmed with guilt over what he did. When I first discovered that he was cheating, I was understandably devastated. I did not talk to him for days, and our relationship was shaky for weeks after that. However, down the line, I understood that the cheating was a reflection of him and not me, and I realized that I loved him enough to give him a second chance. Today, I can not be happier about the decision I made. If you have been cheated on by your lover in the recent past, you’re probably feeling the same way that I did, as though the walls are closing in on your life and happiness will never rear its head again. However, I’m living proof that joy and light can be found after a cheating incident. You just have to believe.
Forgive a Cheater — Letting Her Prove Her Worth
If you’re a man, and your woman recently cheated on you, then that’s a hard pill to swallow. Men, in one way or another, pride themselves with the notion that their woman is entirely theirs, and that no other man has a claim to her. Finding out that another man slept with the love of your life can be a truly difficult pill to swallow, but I can assure that you’ll get over it eventually if you truly love her. You just have to be patient, and let her prove her worth to you.
Forgiving Her in Small Steps
Forgiving her won’t happen overnight. It takes small, steady steps, and it might be a long time before you reach true forgiveness. If you’re patient and dedicated enough, it will eventually come, but it will take a lot of attentiveness on your part and a lot of hard work on the part of your partner.
Cheating Forgiveness Doesn’t Come Easy
Cheating forgiveness is one of the hardest things to come by in life. When you’re cheated on, the easiest thing to do is hold hatred for the other person in your soul. However, that hatred can tear you up inside over time. The harder path is forgiveness, and it is by far much more rewarding than hatred.
Cheating Girlfriends Can Potentially Change
Cheating girlfriends can potentially change, just like anyone can. It just takes a great intention on their part. If you really love the woman you’re with, give her a second chance. After a while, you might find that forgiveness was the best decision you ever made.
